School of Wellbeing

Life in the modern age has become particularly trying. Standards of living have improved. Yet man suffers under the weight of present-day living, both mentally and physically. The art of relaxation has been forgotten.

At the School of Well Being, a wing of Swami Chidananda Sevashram, our mission is to teach individuals how to achieve universal well-being. Our goal is to achieve this through Vedic guidelines.

Research has established that deep meaningful relaxation goes back a long way. It is our ancient spiritual practices that help deal with stressful conditions.

These practices have a universal applicability. They are not only for monks and full-time spiritual practitioners but for lay people as well.

Our ancient wisdom offers insight to meet the demands of the present-day problems as well. The School of Well Being helps individuals and families around the world, who are struggling to integrate demands of work, home and community to delve further into their consciousness.

To merge spirituality and science The School of Well Being will work ceaselessly to reveal secrets of ancient spiritual practices to modern minds through spiritually innovative methods and techniques with a touch of scientific research. The School of Well Being is established with the blessings of Gurudev Swami Chidananda ji of Sivananda Ashram.

Our teachers, Swami Yatidharmananda and Swami Omkarananda and have been lucky to imbibe from this great enlightened master. Deriving from his direct, practical, pragmatic and yet simple, genuine and effective teachings, they have designed various courses and retreats. As a tribute to their master, they aspire to empower one and all to reach a stage of universal awareness — to be able to go beyond the mortal aspects of life and experience a holistic life.
